Here are some news items and announcements:

  • MetSoc Registration Deadline: Early Bird Registration June 2 – Registration is available on the 2025 MetSoc meeting. We look forward to seeing many of you at the annual meeting in Perth, Australia, July 14-18!

  • Post-Conference Field Trip July 19–23 – A post-conference field trip to Yarrabubba - Earth’s oldest impact structure, Western Australia will be offered. Visit the website for more details.

  • 2025 Pellas-Ryder Award – Congratulations to co-winners Alexander Kling and Ian Pamerleau, graduate students at Purdue University, who are the recipients of this award that honors outstanding first author planetary science papers by students. Read the full announcement here.

  • Meteoritical Bulletin Database – Announcement of the successful migration of the Meteoritical Bulletin database. The database lists all meteorites known and approved by the Nomenclature Committee and is publicly available at https://www.lpi.usra.edu/meteor/.
