Cari Corrigan has served as the Editor of Meteoritical Society Contributions to Elements since Meteoritical Society joined Elements in 2010! Cari Corrigan will be ending her term in this role at the end of 2024, as she transitions to Meteoritical Society Treasurer in 2025. Thank you to Cari Corrigan for her many years serving in this role!
The next Editor of Meteoritical Society Contributions to Elements will be Emma Bullock, as approved by the Meteoritical Society Council. Emma Bullock will work with outgoing editor Cari Corrigan during the remainder of 2024 to ensure a smooth transition, and then she will start a three-year term beginning in January 2025.
Emma Bullock is the Electron Probe Lab Manager at Carnegie Science in Washington, DC. Her background is in carbonaceous chondrites, studying the mineralogy and isotopic composition of sulfide grains from CI and CM chondrites, and CAIs from CV chondrites. She has also worked on enstatite chondrites, and most recently on lunar samples as part of the Apollo Next Generation Sample Analyses (ANGSA) program. Her first MetSoc meeting was the 2002 meeting in Los Angeles, and she notes that she has attended many memorable meetings in wonderful locations since then.
