Based on a Report submitted to the Endowment Committee by: My Riebe, ETH Zürich

We used financial support awarded from the Meteoritical Society Endowment Fund to offer a travel award targeted at early-career planetary scientists who wished to attend the DINGUE VIII meeting – “Developments In Noble Gas Understanding and Expertise” – on July 19th to 22nd, 2023 in Monte Verità, Ascona, Switzerland. The award was based on financial need and priority was given to applicants residing and conducting their research in economically disadvantaged countries. DINGUE is a noble gas geo- and cosmochemistry meeting covering all scientific and technical aspects of noble gas research. Studies of meteorites are a prominent theme during the meeting, as many noble gas researchers focus on cosmochemical studies of extra-terrestrial matter. Four early-career planetary scientists were awarded with travel support, and these individuals were from Brazil, Morocco, France, and the USA. The support of the Meteoritical Society Endowment Fund to enable their participation is very appreciated.
